Baby sleep, without the stopwatch

A newborn night-shift handoff that takes ten seconds

Reviewed

A useful night handoff answers four things: when the baby last ate, when they last slept, the last diaper, and anything unusual. Put those events in one shared timeline as they happen, then let the next caregiver read rather than wake someone for a report.

Divide attention, not the truth

Each caregiver should have their own account and notification choices while seeing the same current log. Shared passwords erase who did what and make it harder to remove temporary access later.

Keep nighttime boring

The AAP recommends a calm, quiet nighttime environment. Gaia’s dark mode is near-black, timers stay available, and notifications are optional so logging does not become another source of stimulation.

Protect caregiver sleep too

The NHS suggests asking a partner to help with nighttime care where possible. A visible record makes that practical: the next person can take over with the context already in hand.

Sources and safety

This guide is general information, not medical advice. Always use current safe-sleep guidance and contact a qualified clinician when you are worried about your baby.

$GAIA — the ticker

The free tracker is
paid for by the token.

Gaia stays free: every tracker, every chart, every caregiver, on every device, with no subscription and no paid tier. $GAIA is how the rest of it gets paid for. It launches on Solana — coming soon.

It keeps the free tier free

Nap predictions, the importer and the sync that holds one family log together all run on servers we pay for every month. The token treasury covers that bill, so what you use today never turns into a subscription.

You buy the extras with it

When Gaia sells something on top — a longer history, more caregiver seats, the Android build — it is a one-off purchase paid in $GAIA. Buy with our token: no card on file, nothing recurring, and never a fee for what you already have.

Holders decide what ships next

Holder wallets get the Android and MCP builds first, and vote on what the next release adds. The exact holder mechanics are provisional until launch day.

Nothing here is an offer to sell, and there is nothing to send: no claim form, no presale, no wallet to connect. Nobody from Gaia messages first, and no one from the team will ever ask you to send funds to buy.
