Baby sleep, without the stopwatch

Baby sleepy cues and the timing around them

Reviewed

Sleepy cues become more useful as you learn the baby’s individual pattern. A recent-rhythm range can tell you when to pay closer attention; behavior tells you what is happening now. Neither needs to become a rigid schedule.

Notice the repeatable cues

Caregivers may notice quieter movement, reduced engagement, rubbing eyes, yawning or fussiness. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends learning a baby’s signs of sleepiness or overtiredness and responding before they become overtired.

Use the window as preparation

An optional reminder 15 or 30 minutes before Gaia’s window can be a cue to finish a walk, lower stimulation or begin the family’s usual routine. It is deliberately phrased as likely timing, not an instruction.

Feed the observation back

If Gaia’s range felt earlier or later than the baby’s actual rhythm, mark it. The app gently tunes future windows on that phone without sending the answer into a marketing profile.

Sources and safety

This guide is general information, not medical advice. Always use current safe-sleep guidance and contact a qualified clinician when you are worried about your baby.

$GAIA — the ticker

The free tracker is
paid for by the token.

Gaia stays free: every tracker, every chart, every caregiver, on every device, with no subscription and no paid tier. $GAIA is how the rest of it gets paid for. It launches on Solana — coming soon.

It keeps the free tier free

Nap predictions, the importer and the sync that holds one family log together all run on servers we pay for every month. The token treasury covers that bill, so what you use today never turns into a subscription.

You buy the extras with it

When Gaia sells something on top — a longer history, more caregiver seats, the Android build — it is a one-off purchase paid in $GAIA. Buy with our token: no card on file, nothing recurring, and never a fee for what you already have.

Holders decide what ships next

Holder wallets get the Android and MCP builds first, and vote on what the next release adds. The exact holder mechanics are provisional until launch day.

Nothing here is an offer to sell, and there is nothing to send: no claim form, no presale, no wallet to connect. Nobody from Gaia messages first, and no one from the team will ever ask you to send funds to buy.
