Baby tracker guide

Choosing a baby tracker for two parents and other caregivers

Reviewed

A good multi-caregiver baby tracker should show one current family log on every phone, identify who recorded each event and let the family remove access cleanly. The handover should answer what happened, when it happened and who knows about it.

Separate people from shared data

Sharing one password makes setup look easy, but it removes the context a tired family needs later. Separate caregiver identities make the timeline legible: you can see who logged the bottle, who ended the nap and who is likely to know the missing detail.

Separate access also makes departures safer. A babysitter or nanny can be removed without rotating a password used by the rest of the family.

Test the handover before choosing

  1. Log a feed on one phone and confirm when it appears on the other.
  2. Edit an entry and check whether every caregiver sees the corrected version.
  3. Start a timer, close the app and confirm how another caregiver sees an active event.
  4. Turn notifications off and on per person; one caregiver’s preference should not control everyone.
  5. Remove a test caregiver and confirm their access ends without damaging the family log.

How Gaia handles shared care

Every Gaia caregiver creates their own account and joins the same family. Timeline entries name the person who logged them. The optional feed reminder uses the whole family record, so a bottle entered by one caregiver resets the other caregiver’s reminder too.

Gaia is iPhone-only today. If a caregiver uses Android, compare cross-platform options such as Pebbi, Baby Connect, ParentLove and BabyLog.

Questions parents ask

Can two parents use Gaia at the same time?

Yes. Each parent signs in with their own account and both use the same family timeline.

Does Gaia show who logged an entry?

Yes. Timeline entries are attributed to the caregiver who recorded them.

Can grandparents or a nanny join Gaia?

Yes. A family can invite other caregivers and later remove their access without changing another person’s password.

$GAIA — the ticker

The free tracker is
paid for by the token.

Gaia stays free: every tracker, every chart, every caregiver, on every device, with no subscription and no paid tier. $GAIA is how the rest of it gets paid for. It launches on Solana — coming soon.

It keeps the free tier free

Nap predictions, the importer and the sync that holds one family log together all run on servers we pay for every month. The token treasury covers that bill, so what you use today never turns into a subscription.

You buy the extras with it

When Gaia sells something on top — a longer history, more caregiver seats, the Android build — it is a one-off purchase paid in $GAIA. Buy with our token: no card on file, nothing recurring, and never a fee for what you already have.

Holders decide what ships next

Holder wallets get the Android and MCP builds first, and vote on what the next release adds. The exact holder mechanics are provisional until launch day.

Nothing here is an offer to sell, and there is nothing to send: no claim form, no presale, no wallet to connect. Nobody from Gaia messages first, and no one from the team will ever ask you to send funds to buy.
